Robert Reyes passed away on July 11, 2023. He was born in El Centro and raised in Brawley, CA. Robert was the son of the late Roberto Reyes Sr. and the grandson of the late Lydia Rubio. Robert was also the son of Josephine (Fina) Reyes of Brawley, CA. He was a brother to Kiki & Lydia (Singh) Cruz, David Romero, Gabino & Lisa (Reyes) Carrillo, & Anthony (Vito) Reyes, all residing in Brawley, CA. Robert was an uncle to Colby Cabada, Enrique (Elias) & Karen Cruz, Jesus (Jesse) Bermudez, Aaron Cruz, Andres Carrillo, Eduardo Carrillo, Jessalyn Bermudez, & Natalie Carrillo. He was also a nephew to Chano & Betty (Romero) Echeverria of Los Angeles, CA, and Elisa (Licha) Martinez of Brawley, CA. Robert was also loved by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He graduated from BUHS in 1984 and attended IVC from 1985 - 2000, where he studied Sales & Marketing. His first job was at Del Taco, and then he was a buyer at Pioneers Memorial Hospital of Brawley, CA, for 23 years. His most recent job was as a caregiver at In-Home Support Services. Robert's love for food extended to his professional life as well, having worked at several renowned steakhouses.
Roberts Reyes funeral will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 10 am - 1 pm at the Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley, CA. The reception will be immediately after at Christ Community Church, 516 Main St., Brawley, CA.
