Scott Wayne Rose, 50, of San Diego passed away peacefully on August 26, 2021 of natural causes.

He was born and raised in Brawley, CA, attending elementary as well as BUHS, graduating in 1989. Growing up he played baseball and football, fortunate to have his dad, James Rose coach teams and let's not leave out Scott being a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan, although slightly saddened his son chose to be a Charger fan. His biggest best love of his life, would be the birth of his only child in 2008, Ryan James.

Immediately following graduating from BUHS, Scott enlisted into the U.S. Army, stationed in Fort Hood, then went on to Desert Storm Gulf War in Kuwait. He received his Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Expert Badge Grenade, Sharpshooter Badge Pistol, Army Lapel Button, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Bronze Service Stars and Kuwait Liberation Medal.

He was preceded in death by both parents, James and Kathryne Rose; grandparents, Doyle and Tina Rose and Cliff and Joyce Segraves.

Scott is survived by his son, Ryan James Rose ofSan Diego, CA; only sister, Stacey Rose Cornejo of Palm Springs, CA; stepmother, Irene Rodriguez Rose of Brawley, CA; brothers, Jordan and Bryan Rose of Brawley CA; uncles, Mark Segraves of Poway, CA and Johnny Rose of Amado, AZ; as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly.

A military internment will be held at Miramar National Cemetery, with honors on October 18, 2021 2:30 p.m. for immediate family.
