TIMOTHY ROGERS Obituary

Timothy Rogers of El Centro, CA passed away at home on May 15, 2022. Tim is preceded in death by his father, Santford Rogers, better known as "Babe"; and mother, Oneida Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Sandy (Sayers) Rogers of nearly 47 years. He was a great husband! Always loving and kind and a wonderful example of what a Christian man and husband should be.
Tim was born April 14, 1955 and grew up in Brawley, CA. He attended Mulberry School and graduated from Brawley High School in 1973. He attended IVC for a few years. He was a fluent reader at 2 yrs old and continued his love of reading and learning his whole life. Tim started working at 15 years old and was never without a job for nearly 50 years. He was a very hard working man and worked many different jobs through the years. His most recent position was at the City of El Centro, where he worked for 23 years, before retiring. He was often seen around town in his "Boom Truck" working on lights and traffic signals.
Tim was most known for his smile! He was almost always smiling, a genuinely content and happy person. Tim was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in July, 1974 and continued active and busy until the day of his death. Teaching others Bible truths and serving others was his greatest joy! He loved his spiritual family so much and had real concern and empathy for those he approached with the Bible's message. He served in local congregations for about 45 years.

Oh Sandy. I'm so sorry to hear this news. Tim was such a wonderful man. So kind & such a joy to be around. He always made me laugh with such joy. Praying for you and your loss. He will be missed.
