TOY B. "JOHNNIE" MARBLE

Toy B. (Johnnie) Marble, 95, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. She died peacefully of natural causes surrounded by her family and friends.
Johnnie was a long time resident of Holtville, California a desert community in the Imperial Valley, where she and her husband of 68 years, Frank L. Marble raised their 5 children: Margaret Marble (Herron - Randolph) Yorba Linda, Frank Marble, Jr. of Sun City, Jerry Marble of Banning, Charles Marble, (deceased) and Judy Marble (Beasy) of North Carolina.
Frank and Johnnie moved to Banning, CA in 1989 when Frank retired and lived there until Frank passed away in 2003. In 2005 Johnnie moved to Yorba Linda to live with her daughter Margaret. Johnnie is survived by four of her children, five grandchildren, and nine great -grandchildren.
She will be buried in the Imperial Valley next to her husband Frank. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.

Like Patty, I have great memories of Mrs. Marble. Those old Pine Union days will always be a wonderful memory for me and Mrs. Marble and the cafeteria is a wonderful part of those memories!

I have great memories of Mrs. Marble as one of the nice lunch ladies at Pine Union. My condolences to her family.
