My condolences to the family. The last time I saw Vince was 40 years ago probably at our high school graduation. Vince’s smile brought sunshine to BUHS. Smiling and joking about anything that came to mind. When I shared stories with my kids about high school, I often thought of Vince and his ability to makes our classes bearable with his humor. May the wonderful memories of his life and laughter bring comfort to his family.

Will, was so amazing, smart, calm, a thinker, a giver. William lived to love and help family and friends. William wanted everyone happy, safe, and taken care of. You were a big brother to me, and I’ll always remember you for being Nobel, upstanding, logical, empathetic, and funny. You were so silly. I was in shock, and my heart broke in a million pieces when I heard you passed away. My life will never be the same without your smile, without you around. You’ll be loved and missed dearly my brother. Peace of God is with you, and I pray for supernatural healing to all who are grieving you going home to the Heavenly Father, you left too soon, Bro!!!! I know The Most High God had better plans for you that we in the earthly plain will not understand, beloved. My condolences to all the family and friends who knew and loved you beloved. You’re truly one of a kind! Que Dios te vendigas. Amen

My condolences to all of Vince's family. Vince called me less than a year ago, we had not talked for over thirty years. Time melted away and we were as close as ever. Vince was my main man and good friend.
I will never forget him.

Everybody loved Vinson. My Cousin was that Guy. He never said anything bad about anybody. He loved family and never hesitated to engage in conversations. Vinson was a realist and spoke the truth. Although we didn’t see each other often, when we did have a chance to speak, it felt like no time was lost between us. Vinson was very proud of his wife and children. I will miss him and I will never forget him.

Vincent is one of my oldest friends from the Eastside Brawley. This guy was always happy, always smiling. I can honestly say I have never seen him angry. Not once. Vincent was quirky, smart, athletic. He would come to keg parties and drink milk! That's how much he respected and took care of his body.
And the kid was fast! I was amazed like many others as he ran hurdles so effortlessly for BUHS track team. Some people just have it and no matter how hard you try, you'll never get it. That's how I felt when I ran into Vince. He just had that spark, that talent, and ability to make you laugh, make you forget about whatever was bothering you for that moment.
I last saw him in 2010. I was on my way out of town and ran into him going into Vons as I exited. We talked for hours, laughing about everything and everyone, including ourselves. We had come a long way in life from the eastside of town. It was great to see him and I have that and many other memories to keep as long as I live. Vincent was a great friend. Gone too soon. RIP brother. Sincere condolences to the Fortune/Butler family.
