Margaret Wampler Obituary
She married the love of her life, Bill Wampler, on October 12, 1946, in Weatherford, Texas, and they remained devoted to one another until his passing on July 10, 2006-just three months and two days shy of their 60th wedding aniversary. And... "they" said, "It wouldn't last!
Margaret graduated from Perrin High School in 1947. She was a faithful member of Christian Missions in Jacksboro, Texas, and was baptized by Rev. W. H. McQuery at the First Baptist Church in Perrin, Texas, in the summer of 1946.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters, Jean Hurst and Laverne Byers, brother, Nathan Byers and three brothers-in-law, Kenneth Trammell, Jim Dodson, and O. F. Hurst.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Larry Wayne Wampler and wife Judy, and Owen Lee Wampler and wife Debbie, all of Mineral Wells, Texas; sister, Doris Barnett and husband Danny; her grandchildren, Lance, Brandy, Eric, and Brian; nine great-grandchildren; three bonus step-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Perrin Memorial Gardens in Perrin, Texas.
