Adam Gobelet Obituary
Graveside services for Adam W. Gobelet, age 38, will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Liberty Cemetery in East Madison County with Rev. Lynn Walker and Rev. Lewis Screws officiating. Mr. Gobelet died at his residence on December 26, 2011. Arrington Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Adam was born in Jackson, TN on August 3, 1973, the son of Bobby H. and Sarah Stewart Gobelet. He was a 1992 graduate of Northside High School and he was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He was employed with Revell Construction Company as a heavy equipment operator and was known by his fellow employees for his hard work on the job. He was loved by his family and was truly a great father.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Gobelet of Beech Bluff, TN; his parents, Bobby H. and Sarah Stewart Gobelet of Jackson, TN; step son, James A. Martin; sons, H. Riley Gobelet and Brian W. Gobelet all of Beech Bluff, TN; daughters, Elizabeth M. Gobelet and Shelby R. Gobelet of Beech Bluff, TN; special niece, Alexis N. Martin of Beech Bluff, TN; brothers, Danny L. Gobelet of Cheyenne WY and Bobby A. Gobelet of Jackson, TN; sister, Angela Gobelet of Jackson, TN; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers to serve will be E.B. Conatser, Thomas Conatser, Tony Beshires, Gy Revell, James Orr and Johnny Benard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh and Barrett Gobelet.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, 2935 Highway 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305 or to Hospice of West Tennessee, 1805 Highway 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305.
The family wishes to say "Thank You" to the many family members and friends that reached out a helping hand to them during the past few months. The response has been overwhelming. You have been a Blessing and it will not be forgotten.
