Charles Raymond Hardee

Charles Raymond Hardee, age 81, died at his residence Friday morning, March 15, 2013.

He was born April 30, 1931 the son of the late David Raymond Hardee and Lavania Pirtle Hardee in Denmark, TN. He was retired as Quality Control Manager for Conalco, a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Ararat Baptist Church.

Charles is survived by his wife, Alyce Jones Hardee; three sons, Charles Hardee (Gayle) of Memphis, TN, Greg Hardee (Pam) of Denmark, TN, Keith Hardee (Tammy) of Huntersville, TN; one sister, Doris Sue Swafford (John) of Nashville, TN; seven grandchildren, Brandon Hardee (Sarah), Trevor Hardee, Cory Hardee, Will Hardee, Kristen Childress (Adam), Rachel Hardee (fiancé, Kelly O'Leary), Bonna Hardee and one great-grandchild, Tristan Hardee.

Services: Graveside services to celebrate the life of Charles will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 3 p.m., at Ararat Cemetery, with Rev. J.V. Davis officiating. There is no scheduled visitation.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to Cemetery Fund at Ararat Baptist Church, 3608 Brownsville Highway, Jackson, TN 38301.
