Clarence Grisham Obituary
Clarence Hudson Grisham, age 84, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 in Jackson, TN.
Mr. Grisham was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He retired after 42 years from Layne-Bowler Company in Memphis. Hudson is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; three brothers.
He leaves his wife of 63 years, Christine Grisham; two sons, Nicholas Grisham (Mara) of Cleveland, TN and Gary Grisham (Susan) of Jackson, TN; two grandsons, Hudley Grisham of New York City, NY and Ben Grisham (Annie) of Lexington, KY; one granddaughter, Mallory Grisham; great granddaughter, Lilah Grisham both of Jackson, TN; one sister, Martha Ann Peeler (Carl); two brothers, Douglas Grisham (Lucille) and Donald Grisham (Sarah); also other beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside service will be at 12 noon, Monday at Chapman Church of Christ Cemetery in Ripley, MS. Pallbearers will be Nephews, Thomas, Bobby and Danny Ghrisham, Danny Shackelford, Greg Montgomery and brother in-law, Bobby White.
In lieu of flowers family requests that memorials be sent to Mid-South Alzheimer's Asso. or the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East, Memphis, TN, (901) 382-1000
