Coach Dunlap was such a wonderful man and leader. During our time together, he stressed to me and many others the importance of getting a good education and to remain focused at all times with no distractions.

For we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord. To The Dunlap Family: Please know that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. May the memories of your loved one live on forever in your hearts.

Coach Dunlap was one of the best teacher and coach that we had at Tech. I pray that God will continue to comfort you and your family as you go through this difficult time. In Jesus Name, amen

I knew coach when I was a student at Tech High School around 1972..He was my all time favorite teacher and had a real impact on my life. His encouragement to focus on sports kept me out of trouble ..and he watched me closely...once when a friend and I "skipped " early to avoid an assembly, he followed us to the pool hall, saying if we could make it back to school before he did there wouldn't be any extra laps at football practice. He took his time and we made it! He was very good to me and I came to appreciate him more and more as the years went by. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to all the family on the loss of "Coach". Sincerely, Ronnie B. Fields, Jr.

There is no way I can express the heartache I feel right now. He wasn't the perfect father, but he was mine. He fought a good fight until the end and though I realize he is in far better place with our Lord and his wife and son, I miss him beyond belief. I don't know just what I will do without him, but what I do know is that he will forever my Knight in Shining Armor looking out for me just as he did the day I was born. I love you my daddy, Rest in Peace.
