Ernest Adams Obituary
Jackson, TN - Services for Ernest Lee Adams III, age 28, will be Friday, October 21, 2011 at 1 p.m., at East Jackson Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Adams died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Visitation for Mr. Adams will begin Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The remains of Mr. Adams will lie-in-state at East Jackson Church of Christ on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Not a day goes by that you are not missed. You knew how to make everyone around not feel bad at all, just because you were always smiling. This is such a great loss for so many. I didn't know E as long as some did, but in the almost year that I knew him he brought so much joy into my life. He & my boyfriend were close friends and were always together it seemed. There weren't to many days that I didn't see E on a regular basis. He was always so full of life & happy. I will miss seeing his smiling face, him coming in the house asking what I made for dinner & where was his leftover plate. I know that God had another plan for E that we might not understand or ever understand, but God makes no mistakes. Adams/Hill family you all are in my prayers & I pray God give you peace in this time of sorrow. It's not good bye, it's see ya later! We love you E & look forward to seeing your smiling face again one day.

I played ball with Ernest back in the little league days. I remember Ernest and the family well. I'll be thinking about you guys as you go through these hard times. My thoughts and prayers are with the Adams family at this time. I knew Ernest while we were kids andwe remained friends thoughout life. It breaks my heart to know that a young man with so much potential was cheating out of living the rest of his life. Like all others that knew Ernest, I can say he touch my life in a very special way.
