Frances Nance Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances White Nance 87 will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 3 2005 in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Reverend Pat Kough officiating. Burial will follow in Montezuma Methodist Church Cemetery in Chester County. She was born in Memphis TN daughter of the late Thomas Harris and Fannie Gray Griggs White Sr. Mrs. Nance was a member of First Baptist Church of Bemis. Mrs. Nance a homemaker died Tuesday March 1 2005 at Northbrooke Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her husband J. B. Nance who died April 20 2004; a sister Margaret Bond; a brother John Allen White and two grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters Comaletta Melton of Bemis TN and Carolyn and husband James Johnson of Beech Bluff TN; a son Jerry and wife Terry Nance of Tucson AZ; a sister Florence Gibson of Milan TN; three brothers T. H. White of Bradford TN Robert White and Harry White both of Trenton TN; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today at the funeral home. Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home 731-424-2424
