Freida Timberlake Pruitt Coleman

Freida Timberlake Pruitt Coleman, age 75, was called home by her Lord on March 22, 2016, following a brief illness.

She was born on November 5, 1940, to the late Joe and Corrine (Kirk) Timberlake of Medina. She was a graduate of Humboldt High School. She raised her family in Medina. She was an active member of Medina First Baptist Church, where she taught the Adult Women's Sunday School Class. She was a former Medina PTA President, and a member of the local School Board. After raising her children, she worked in Medina and Milan as a floral designer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert L. "Bob" Pruitt and James L. "Leon" Coleman, both of Medina, as well as by her sister, Joyce Ford, of Jackson, and a twin brother, Frank Timberlake, of Gibson.

In 2000, following the birth of her only grandchild, she moved to Jackson, where she lived with family and became a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, George Pruitt (and wife, Sheri) and Joe Pruitt, and one granddaughter, Kaleigh Pruitt, all of Jackson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina, with Dr. Jerry Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery near Medina. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the funeral home.
