Gary Clayton

Gary Malone Clayton age 53 died November 9 2003 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born in McNairy County and grew up in Chester County the son of Gladys Imogene Woodward Clayton and the late Hoyt Malone Clayton He attended Chester County Schools and graduated C.C.H.S. in 1968. He was married to Cindy Wilson who is the mother of their three daughters. He worked with his parents at Glady's Restaurant and also worked as a painter. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of the World and a member of Old Friendship Baptist Church He is survived by his mother Gladys Clayton of Bethel Springs TN and three daughters Connie Beecham Roy of Henderson Christa Taylor Robert of Gulf Breeze FL and Amanda Garrison Billy of Pinson; a brother Ricky Clayton Phyllis of Henderson; and seven grandchildren Chase Tanner and Trey Beecham Nicholas and Reagan Taylor Claire and Carley Garrison. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday from the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home wit Bro. Glenn Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Old Friendship Cemetery in Chester County.
