Jane Keith Obituary
Funeral Services for Mrs. Jane Barnes Keith, age 62 of Jackson, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, with Minister Jerry Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Nebo Cemetery in Henderson County, TN.
Mrs. Keith passed away March 16, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born February 6, 1949 in Madison County, TN, the daughter of the late John Herchel and Ruby Russell Barnes. Mrs. Keith was a graduate of North Side High School, class of 1967, and was an LPN with Jackson-Madison County General Hospital for many years.
She leaves her husband of 44 years, Paul Keith of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Laura (Mark) Gunter of Bellvue, TN and Leslie (Tim) Vantrease of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Josh and Caylin Gunter, and Morgan and Mary Grace Vantrease; two sisters, Sherry (David) Cobb and Terry (Bard) Coggins, all of Nashville, TN; and four brothers, David (Norma) Barnes, Jamie (Debbie) Barnes and Mark (Theresa) Barnes, all of Jackson, TN and Tim (Michele) Barnes of Ocean Springs, MS.
Pallbearers to serve will be David Barnes, Tim Barnes, Jamie Barnes, Mark Barnes, Mark Gunter, Josh Gunter and John Phillips.
The family requests any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with service to follow.
