It has been 5 years this Friday sent you left this world and it stings me to tears every anniversary date of your passing. Some things just never go away and my sadness when I think about you being gone is one of them. But when I feel this way, I make myself go to the good memories of why I loved you so and soon I begin to smile and remember all the wonderful stories you told and the hilarious things you would say while you worked with all of us. What joy you brought into the lives of so many people. What a gift you had of taking a person at their worst and bringing them back to peace and happiness again. The countless families you touched by healing their loved one of the torture of mental illness. I am so proud to have had you in my life, even if it hurts every time I realize you are no longer there. I don't want anyone to forget you, just because time has passed since you left us. You are and always will be alive in my heart. Julie

A year has passed, but I still miss you as much as I did the day you went away. When you cross my mind, I always smile and then feel sad. I wonder if you ever knew the impact you had on my life and my family. Will always love you, Doc.

I was Dr. Guyton's secretary at Pathways for many years. I just found out that Dr. Guyton had passed away. I loved Dr. Guyton so much! He taught me so much about psychiatry and made me laugh harder than him! He will be missed so much.

He was such a caring Psychiatrist and I worked around him in my early days while in Graduate School. I was amazed how his private patients often drove from Little Rock and other distant cities and I know why, he was the best! He had a positive influence on so many of us.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Nancy and the rest of the family. Dr. G. was the greatest person I have ever met in my life. He was intelligent, kind, carving, giving, thoughtful, and funny. I loved hearing his stories about fishing and when he was a pilot in the war. He will be greatly missed by so many people whose life he greatly impacted. He was loved by everyone who knew hime.
I know how much I loved him and will greatly miss this fine man. I love you as well Nancy and if you need me, please feel free to let me know. You and Dr. Guyton have always been there for me when ever I need you. I am here you in your time of need.

One of the finest people I've ever known. He was a joy to work with at Pathways. Nancy, I am so sorry for your great loss. I always loved for Dr. Joe to come into my office with another great story. He was a brilliant doctor, but a friendly, outgoing, generous and funny man, and I am glad I knew him.

How do you find the words to say when the best friend you ever had leaves this world. Lost, sad, maybe even a little afraid now that he is gone. He was there for me, not just when it was convenient, but no matter what. Doc was my mentor to show me what being a compassionate provider to those we serve should be like when I first graduated from Union almost 30 years ago now. He reminded me every day that I was to "serve" those that needed me as a nurse and not just to pick up a paycheck. Angels walk among us sometimes I know, and one I loved was named Joe. I will always miss you............my best Friend Joe.

Doc, you meant the world to me when I was having trouble handling things. You told things as they were with no bull to play with. Going to "really" miss you !
