Mike Cotner

Funeral services for Charles Michael 'Mike' Cotner 40 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday May 11 2006 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mike was born on July 19 1965 in Ripley TN the son of Charles S. and Ann Cannon Cotner. He was a graduate of North Side High School and was employed as a purchasing agent with Car Mart of America. He treasured the time he was able to spend coaching his daughter in softball and soccer as well as watching her play basketball. He was an avid UT sports fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended West Jackson Baptist Church of Jackson. He is survived by his wife Amy Cotner of Jackson; his daughter McKenzie Cotner of Jackson; his mother Ann Cotner of Jackson; Amys mother and step father Kathe and Ted Dickerson of Lexington; his sister in law Anna Abbott of Caruthersville MO and many nieces nephews and cousins. Mike was preceded in death by his father Charles S. Cotner; a sister Pam Garner Cotner and a father in law Johnny Trowbridge. Pallbearers to serve will be Rob Ormerod Carlton Lowery Joe Bryan Scott Smith Keith Morrison Ricky Martindale Patrick Piercey Travis Jones Mac Hardwick and Jeff Hurbis.
