Patsy Kiestler Pickle

Patsy Kiestler Pickle was born March 18, 1941 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Elbert Harmon and Imogene Mitchell Kiestler. She was united in marriage to Bobby G. Pickle, Sr. on April 12, 1956.

Patsy retired from the McNairy County Board of Education following 20 years of service. She and her husband Bobby enjoyed playing in couple's golf scrambles throughout the surrounding area, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Patsy was a faithful member of the Selmer First Baptist Church.

Patsy departed this life on July 23, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 4 months, 5 days.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby G. Pickle, Sr. of Selmer, TN; a son, Bobby G. Pickle, Jr. and wife Lisa of Middleton, TN; two daughters, Vicki Privett and husband Terry of Corinth, MS, and Sandy Robinson and husband Tony of Selmer, TN; seven grandchildren, Zach Pickle, Josh Pickle, and Rachel Wilbanks and husband Wesley, all of Middleton, TN, Ashley Privett and Chasity Privett, both of Tupelo, MS, Blake Robinson and wife Sierra of Cordova, TN, and Courtney Robinson of Selmer, TN; a great-grandchild, Cayden Robinson of Cordova, TN; a sister, Jeanne Tull and husband Clyde of Bethel Springs, TN; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by three brothers, Lindy Kiestler, Wilbur Dean Kiestler and Mitch Kiestler.

Services will be held on July 26, 2014 at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, with Max Walker, Mike Hollaway, and Joey Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
