Linda Sorensen for Sander Sorensen
January 29, 2024
Hello Brenda.. My late husband Sander and your husband were friends while working in a frozen fish packing warehouse cutting fish in a freezer in Rohnert Park, Calif. When you moved away Sander and I took a Greyhound bus to come see you both in Bethel Springs. Here is a photo I found of us. I hope you can remember at least a little part of your life then. We both adored you and Paul. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. Sander died in January 2019 from Frontal Temporal Dementia. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] anytime. I am retired as a critical care nurse since 2018 and Sander stayed committed to his painting portraits and working in construction. We have one daughter, Lauren. I live in Portland, OR and have been since 2000. I hope this finds healthy and enjoying your life. I would love to hear from you. Here is a photo from the 1970´s

Paul Pickens was the nicest person to have as a friend. I talked with him on Christmas Eve not knowing that would be the last time.He loved his family and friends and always had time to visit, . I am so thankful that my path crossed with Pickens family many years ago.God bless you all.

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing! I didn't know him well, but his sister Sarah worked with my mother at Jaco's when we were all much younger. She often talked of her beloved brother. Prayers for the Pickens family!

Sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Worked with him at Southwest Electric and knew him in the timber business.
