Victor Myron Toone

Jackson, TN-Services for Victor Myron Toone, age 53, will be Saturday February 16, 2013 at 2 p.m. at New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Toone died Monday February 11 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN.

Visitation for Mr. Toone will begin Friday morning from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The remains of Mr. Toone will lie-in-state at New St. Luke Baptist Church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service.

My heart goes out to Cherry and all of Vic's family. I worked as extra help in two of the work groups he managed in Indy for several years. He restored my faith that a manager could truly care about his employee. If you were straight with Vic, he ALWAYS had your back. What lost for us in Indy when he went back to TN. What a bigger loss for us who worked for a FRIEND that happend to be our manager. He will be missed but forever gratiful our life path crossed each other!!
