Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral 2403 Harrison Ave Panama City, FL, 32405 850-763-4694 Bienvenido Blasco Ramin, age 78 passed away at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Born on July 24th, 1935 in the Philippines he lived in Jersey City, New Jersey for many years before recently relocating to Panama City Beach, Florida to be close to his son Leo and his family. He worked at the Dairy Training Institute of the Philippines as the Director. He served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Philippines in Los Banos, Laguna until his retirement. He then worked as a consultant for several ranches in the Philippines. He also lead the Reforestation project in Libya, Middle East. During his years in around Jersey City, New Jersey he worked with Bradlees Department Store and Jersey City Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Herminia, four children and their families, Edna Zengerle with her husband Bill of Bridgewater, NJ, Leo Ramin and wife Susan of Marianna, Florida, Dennis Ramin of Naga City, Philippines and Eva Ramin, Tacloban, Philippines. Also surviving, four grandchildren, Peter, Diane, Lindsey and Lauren. Ben as he was known to many was a devoted Catholic and active in the Immaculate Conception Parish in Secaucus, New Jersey. Relatives and Friends are welcome to offer prayers on his behalf. Burial will be held privately. He will be interned in the Kent Forest Lawn Cemetery in Panama City Florida.
