Sharon, Doyle, Madeline, Jimmy and Theresa, my deepest sympathy for the great loss of Kevin. I can say so many great things about Kevin but you already know. I had the great privilege of knowing Kevin since he was a little boy and I can honestly say Kevin had a pure, deep love for his family especially his mother and daughter. I never recall Kevin without a smile on his face or his presence filling a room, you just knew that Kevin had something special that few people have. Madeline, I want you to know that no matter where you are or what you do, your daddy loved you with all of his heart and soul, when he spoke about you Madeline the pride and love just swelled within him, you could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice. Sharon ,Doyle, Jimmy and Theresa, I wish I had the words to take your pain away for there is no greater loss than that of a child, you are in my prayers, my heart just breaks for the family.

We are family of Kevin's step-mom, Theresa, and met Kevin a few years ago at the family reunion. We would see him every year at the annual reunion and he was always the same, sweet guy. He loved family and friends unconditionally, and had a compassionate heart for everyone he met. What a great guy and a tragic loss. Kevin filled such a space with his presence and leaves a void in the lives of everyone he left behind. Remember him often and he will always be with you. God bless Jimmy and Sharon, Keisha, and special Madeline. You will always have a guardian angel watching over you.

I knew Deputy Wright for several years through my job. He was Judge Wright's former bailiff. Things could sometimes get tense in the hearings. However Deputy Wright was always the consumate professional. Cool, calm and collective. I always felt very secure and safe knowing that he could handle any situation that arose. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his surviving family members and friends.

Kevin was a wonderful, respectful man who loved his daughter and wanted only the best for her. I remember how proud he was of her when she walked across the stage at the National Peanut Festival pageant. His face held an indescribable smile as he watched her. One of the best things I can say about Kevin is that he was TRUE. If he said something he meant it, and if he spoke to you once he spoke to you everytime he saw you. Jackson County has suffered a GREAT loss! He was a great friend and neighbor. My deepest sympathy goes out to his fiance' Kisha, his daughter Madeline, and everyone in his family!
