Dale E. Reppert

Dale E. Reppert, 80, of Frankfort, died at 4:23 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at Wesley Manor Health and Retirement Community.

He was born December 9, 1931 in Frankfort to John Reppert and Stella (McClelland) Reppert Andrews. He married Julia A. Brant on July 9, 1951 and she preceded him in death on September 18, 2007.

Mr. Reppert was a 1950 graduate of Michigantown High School. A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, he served from April 3, 1951 to April 2, 1954. He was a barber, working at the Washington Barber Shop for 42 years, retiring in 1998. Mr. Reppert was a member of the Boyleston Baptist Church, American Legion, Moose Lodge and was a former member of the Frankfort Jaycees.

Surviving are his mother, Stella Andrews, Frankfort; a daughter, Lynn (Brad) Kriel, Frankfort; a son, Doug D. Reppert, Frankfort; 3 grandchildren, Megan (Joe) Marsh and Matthew and Evan Kriel; special friend, Karen Reppert, rural Frankfort; 2 half sisters, Donna (Bob) Myers, Frankfort and Linda Mounts, Frankfort.

He was preceded in death by sister, Norma Catron Shoemaker, 2 half sisters, Mrs. Dale (Shirley) Ford and Mrs. Jerry (Patty) Krengle.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 5 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at goodwinfuneralhome.com.

Memorial donations may be made to the Boyleston Baptist Church or the Clinton County Cancer Fund.
