I could scarcely believe my eyes when I opened the paper and saw Dwayne's smiling face in the obituary notices. It was such a shock! He was not only a dear friend and a wonderful WALLA colleague, he was a person I deeply admired and will miss terribly. It was a privilege to know him, for the light of God's love shone in his face.. He was my idea of a true man of God. I offer my condolences to his family and friends in this time of loss. You will have beautiful memories and his deep faith to comfort you. Prayers and blessings from my heart.

I have so many great memories with Uncle Dwayne. My summers spent at the lake fishing with him to time on the farm. He sure knew how to live life to its fullest. I remember his carousel slide shows of pictures from around the world and how interesting it was to see and hear stories about his adventures. I'll cherish those memories forever. He will be missed.

Dwayne will certainly be missed by many at WALLA. I attended almost all of his photography classes and learned so much from him. Also thoroughly enjoyed his Meet the Artist classes which introduced us to so many local artists and their work.
His knowledge and friendship will be missed! Kathy and Russ Clark

I grew up, on a farm just down the road from the Daehler farm. When the twins were little, I used to walk down the road and entertain them on their screened-in porch. I was probably 7 or 8 at the time.

Pastor Daehler was the pastor when I was a member at OSLC.
He was a friendly and interesting person.
In our youth we both worked summers for Green Giant Company in Minnesota.
