Elizabeth Weger Obituary
Elizabeth Weger, 53, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2014 in IU Arnett Health.
She was born on August 5, 1961 in Rockmart, GA to Freddie R. and Berta Lou (Cox) McDonald.
In 2005, she married David M. Weger and he preceded her in death.
Elizabeth was a CNA for Indiana Veterans Home for 20 years.
She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God in Lafayette and the American Legion Post 11 Women's Auxiliary.
Elizabeth loved to help people, spend time outside fishing and camping, and enjoyed listening to country music.
Surviving are her children Jerry (Rhonda) Daniels and Sara Martin, both of Lafayette; a brother, Bobby McDonald of Lafayette; and sisters, Patty (Coy) Ramey, Janie Griffith, DeDe (Buddy) Bunch, all of Lafayette, and Freida Anes of Kirklin. Also surviving are three grandchildren and one on the way.
Visitation will be held at 11a.m.-1p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette. Services will follow at 1p.m. with Brother Chris Black officiating. Burial will follow in Fair Haven Cemetery, Mulberry.
Memorial donations for Elizabeth can be made to Fisher Funeral Chapel to assist the family with funeral expenses.

I knew Liz from IVH. She was a wonderful person.As someone else said, she was very outspoken. Which is not always a bad thing. She gave an honest opinion, and if you didn't like it to bad. She was a hard worker and she will be missed.Go be with Mike and enjoy your time together. God Bless!
