There was an outpouring of responses among Alumni, a few from different classmates below:
The memory of watching Brad swim the fly down at the old pool at KP is poetry on high For those of us that got a chance to see that body in action, unforgettable. And what a guy something special in a humble way that is very rare round these parts. On your way Mr. Trout, on your way! But, I sure did figure I'd see you again
I didn't know Brad very well until we sat next to each other on a plane to Vegas for the Jerry Lewis Telethon 1st class year. What a great guy! We pretty much hung together for the weekend and I remember the time fondly. All our best to his family. We will miss you Brad.
Condolences to his family. This was a serious loss. People like him helped me get through KP. He was intelligent, on an even keel, had a pleasant smile, fun to be around, and had a great sense of humor. Another brother lost too young. R.I.P.
I can just recall Brad as an amazing swimmer. Shaved hair, etc Massive shoulders from doing the butterfly..
My sympathies to his son and rest of his surviving family and closest friends. I always sensed from the very beginning he was a very kind and good guy, and fresh from St. Louis, I remember feeling very glad to have been paired up with someone closer to my own region to start out with. Brad - thanks for your easy personality and friendship during all those hours in the room our first tough year in Rogers Hall. And for talking your parents into putting about 8 of us up at your House in Lafayette one night for the Indy 500 race in May 1978. May God have mercy. Rest in peace Brother man.

Brad and I were classmates at Kings Point and stayed in contact for a long time. He was my best man, and so many memories. Something special about him people enjoyed being around - funny, entertaining, someone you could count on too. My good friend will be missed
My deepest sympathies to you Daniel and the family.

I was a classmate of Brad's at Kings Point and also knew him from the swim team for 4 years. He was a gentle, kind soul and fun loving. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
