Jack Robbins Obituary
Jack R. Robbins, 75, of Lafayette, passed away at 7:00 am, Monday, May 15, 2017 at his residence.
Born September 14, 1941 In Frankfort, IN, he was the son of the late Jesse and Martha A. (Sheets) Robbins.
His marriage was to Martha May Stevens on June 29, 1968 in Lafayette. She survives.
Jack worked in building services at Purdue University for over 25 years, retiring in 2007.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and enjoyed watching HGTV, NASCAR racing, and midget and open wheel racing. Jack loved to watch his kids and grandkids sporting events and wood working.
Surviving with his wife, Martha Robbins, are his children, Brian Robbins (wife: Kris) of Lafayette, Ron Robbins (wife: Tonia) of Noblesville, Bridget A. Wallis (husband: Harold) of Mt. Vernon, and Jennifer K. Brown (husband: Rod) of Noblesville; a sister, Sharon Niemantsverdriet of Cincinnati, OH; and eight grandchildren.
Preceding him in death with his parents are two sisters, Patsy Cochran and Betty Bonnette; and one brother, Frank "Junior" Robbins.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Hippensteel Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Martha and family and Sharon and family.
It's a few days away from Jacks passing away. We never forget our loved ones, but thank God the pain is not as bad as before. Just know I'm saying a prayer for you all and hope things are getting a bit easier.

Being a northend neighbor, I spent a lot of time with the Robbins family when I was growing up. Have a lot of fond memories of Jack and the family.
