Janice Goris Obituary
Janice Goris, 61, of Rossville, on Wednesday, November 01, 2017, went home to be with her Lord.
She was born July 27, 1956, in Lafayette, to C. Everette and Veroca Rubright Goris; her mother survives. Janice was formerly married to Robert Bluemke Jr.
Janice graduated from Rossville High School in 1974, and worked for Frankfort Municipal Utilities for 26 years. She was a member of Rossville Bible Fellowship Church, mentor for COACH Kids, and volunteered at the Kokomo Rescue Mission. Janice enjoyed reading, being outdoors especially gardening, spoiling her grandchildren, and shopping with her daughters.
Also surviving Janice are her daughters, Jennifer (Zachary) Renz, of North Manchester, Jessica (Larry) Krystosek, of Houston, TX, and Annette (Nathan) Gallipo, of Lafayette; grandchildren, Hayden, Ava, Hunter, Braden, Mason, and Madison; and three brothers, Randall (Irma) Goris, of Rossville, Robert (Peggy) Goris, of Cutler, and Roger (Kathy) Goris, of Owensboro, KY.
Janice is preceded in death by her father, infant sister, Joyce, and brother, Richard Goris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Deardorff officiating. Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery. Memorials in Janice's name may be made to Rossville Bible Fellowship Church. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
