To June and family, I always got many laughs just being with you and John during your wintering in Naples. Lives cross and they mesh and before you know it, it seems like it's been a lifetime. One thing John said to me in jest a few years ago has become a mantra in our home and every time it's said, we remember John and still laugh. I'll leave you with this "look at it till you love it!" He truly was one of a kind, compassionate, giving, warm, funny and his hearty laugh will surely be missed! I'll look forward to seeing you June, when you're ready for Naples, we'll be here for you. Sending all our love and plenty of virtual hugs until we see you again.

To John's family and friends, I saw a sign the other day it said "GOD IS HIRING" looking for great, smart, caring people to help me in heaven. I'm trying to fix some of these problems with the living earth it is starting to die. I have noticed GOD has been taking a lot of smart, great caring people for hire to help him. I think now that John is there to help we will see a lot of good changes coming our way to fix some of the mess on Earth. GOD BLESS JOHN and all of his family and friends he will be missed . But remember he's helping GOD. Waitress and cook from the Parkside Deli Vickie Austin and family

RIP “Shoe,” as I always called him in our HS days. What a great guy as we’ve been friends since 7th grade.
John you accomplished so much in your life it’s a true pleasure to have a friend that achieved the ultimate link in life to be so charitable, charismatic and a down to earth type of guy!
He will be missed by many...thanks for the memories.
Prayers and hugs June!
