Katelyn Lane Obituary
Katelyn Sue Lane, 6, of Lafayette, IN, died at 01:25 AM Saturday November 9, 2013, at IU Arnett Hospital ER. She was born February 24, 2007, in Lafayette, IN, to Mindy Baker Kirby. Katelyn was a first grader at Mayflower Mill Elementary Tippecanoe County. Katelyn enjoyed dancing, singing, playing at the park, using the computer, and being with her family and friends.
Surviving is her mother, Mindy Kirby, Lafayette; sister, Kyleigh Kirby boyfriend, Chuck East, Lafayette; grandmother, Susan Amey, Lafayette; grandfather, Rodger Baker, of Wolcott; aunt, Trish Baker, Lafayette; uncle, Patrick Baker wife Aaron, of Reynolds; great grandmother, Betty Gibson, Lafayette; niece, Braylynn Kirby, Lafayette.
Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Thursday at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel. Pastor William Murdock officiating. Burial will be at Meadow View Cemetery. Preceded in death by great grandfather Harley Gibson, great grandmother Minnie Baker and great grandfather Fred Baker. I dont know the family but i am from Lafayette living in Texas n when I read this story it made me cry. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Lil one and I have been saying prayers for her and for all of you for God to lift you all up and hold you close and try and give you some comfort as you go through this time.
