Keith Dale Brewer

Keith Dale Brewer, 81, of Lafayette passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016. He was born February 11, 1935, in Dyer to the late Morris and Mildred Brewer. Keith graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and served in the Army from 1954 to 1956. On March 5, 1955 he married Maxine Kay Burk in Battle Ground and she survives. He was Assistant Superintendent at the Tippecanoe County Highway Department for 9 years and had formerly work for Faubers Contstruction. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 11, Masonic Lodge and the local construction workers union. Keith loved his wife and family. He enjoyed family events, his dog Casie, mushroom hunting and fishing. Surviving are his daughters Cynthia Kay Martin (husband William) of Lafayette, Julie Ann Reno (husband Randy) of Valparaiso; grandchildren Amanda Barker, Briana Martin, Summer McElhaney, Calvin Martin, Halie Martin, great-grandchildren Russell Martin, Landon Martin, Lillian, Isabell, Olivia and Magdalen McElhaney. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., with Pastor William McElhaney officiating.
