Lawrence Humphrey Obituary
Lawrence S.(Larry) Humphrey, 75 passed away Jan 30, 2016, with his children at his side.
He was born May 29, 1940 in Zion, Illinois to William and Addie Humphrey. Lawrence served in the US Army from June 1958 - June 1964. He was a member of The American Legion, Masonic Lodge and Moose Lodge.
Lawrence retired from the Steamfitters Local Union 157.
He enjoyed being on the river, fishing, hunting and posting on facebook.
Lawrence married the Love of His Life Janet Elaine Pattengale on Aug 13, 1977. Janet preceeded him in death
on May 7, 2015. He leaves behind his faithful dog Murphy along with his children, Anita Howe (Fred) of Delphi, Brenda Collins (Doug) of Delphi, Anthony Kramer (Cindi) of Flora, Jerry Humphrey (Julie) of Lafayette, Phillip "Eric" Kramer (Betty) and "Murphy" of Lafayette, Julie Kramer of Delphi, Lora Davis (Jim) of Pine Village.
The Loving couple also has 25 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, they were both preceeded in death by son Larry David and grandson Jeremiah David.
Larry's wishes are to have his and Janets ashes put together and placed at there final resting place at 100F Memorial Gardens.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I am in shock. I loved my brother very much and am so sad he is gone. I have some very fond memories of us growing up together. He would call me Mom sometimes and I would say "Don't call me your MOM". I was a second Mom to him. RIP. Love your sister, Juanita Greiner
