I am so happy to have introduced Connie to Mac one night at Cox's pub and even though the pub burned down Connie and Macs flame of love still burned bright. Their family's mixed well and all the boys have grown to the gentle men this world needs today. It makes me proud to have known all of them with fond memories. May you all have happy fulfilled lives and never stop enjoying each other god bless you all with love Vickie Austin

MAC was one of the good ones, he always saw the good in people. When you started at the P.O. Mac was one of the first one you could go to for help, he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and don't forget his friends.

Mac, I want to thank you for taking me under your wings when I first started at the Post Office back in 1979. Youll never understand how much that meant to me! Our friendship went beyond the walls of the PO. Man, we all had so much fun back then from the poker games at your house to the happy hours at the Parkside Deli. You will be missed, my friend. Heaven gained a guardian angel. RIP, Mac.

I only have one picture of Mac. It was at a local pub with coworkers after a day of delivering. He was so much fun whether it be at work, playing poker at his home on a federal holiday or playing in a golf scramble. Rest easy friend. Prayers of comfort to your family.

I have been blessed to call Mac my friend and family since 1985. My ex-husband, Randy Moffitt and I spent many a Friday or Saturday night at Mac and Cheryl's playing euchre, poker, or hanging out by the pool. Mac accepted me into his group of friends from day one, and always made me feel welcome. Mac had a huge love for music, and expanded my musical tastes by exposing me to some incredible bands I'd not heard of before.
Through the years, we shared in watching our children grow up. We celebrated birthdays, holidays, graduations, weddings, and grandchildren's births. We shared in great sadness in losing parents and friends.
One of my favorite nights spent with Mac, and his wife Connie, was a night spent at Star Lanes with my Uncle Joe Schrader. It was an unplanned get together, but one that I will forever hold dear. It was nice to just be able to sit, have some cocktails, and catch up with one another. A night spent reminiscing and laughing so hard tears ran down our face.
Mac was an extremely intelligent man. He was a passionate man. He was so very proud of all of his kids, and when he talked about his grandchildren, Mac brightened with love and pride.
You will be greatly missed, Mac. You have been a dear friend to me and my family, and for that, thank you for so many wonderful memories, and for always being there for all of the special moments in our lives. We are forever blessed to have known you. We love you!
