Patricia Priest Obituary
Patricia A. (Arnold) Priest, 70, of Colfax, passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital. Born January 31, 1943 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late William and Virginia (Baker) Arnold.
Patricia married Lee R. Priest on January 15, 1972 in Lafayette and he survives. She worked in housekeeping at Regency Place and then as a cook, for several years, at Purdue University. She enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, listening to country music and she loved her animals.
Surviving with her husband are their three children, Robert Todd Priest (wife, Dawna) of Hampton, VA, Deborah D. Priest and Randall L. Priest (companion Brittany Luke) both of Lafayette. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and Vickie Priest, a special family member. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Jim and Kevin Arnold and a grandson, Brandon L. Priest.
Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral service Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Celebrant Chris Dodson officiating. Burial to follow at North Union Cemetery in Buck Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Hippensteel Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
