Richard Redinbo Obituary
Lafayette - Richard A. Redinbo, 65, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 in his residence. He was born October 26, 1952, in Lafayette, IN, to Lawrence E. and Mary M. Nelson Redinbo.
Richard graduated from East Tipp High School. After high school he worked for the Operators Union. In 1980 he started Redinbo Transmission here in Lafayette where he operated it from 1980 to 1999.
Richard enjoyed drag racing and working on cars. Surviving is his son, Dustin A. Redinbo(Brianne Wilson) of Lafayette, daughter, Stacey Moore of Lafayette, brothers, Tom Redinbo (Donna), Don Redinbo (Mary), John W. "Willy" Redinbo, and his sister, Shirley Vanpelt (Frank) of Lafayette. Grandchildren Ferrha Walker-Thomas, Megan Morrow, Tanner Lotz, Jordan & Tyler Redinbo, and one great granddaughter Harlow.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Officiating will be Fr. Ambrose Ziegler You may sign the guest book, leave memories and photos at www.soller-baker.com

When I returned to Lafayette for a visit at a family reunion, Dick was the first to greet me, Although we hadn't seen each other for 20 years , He made me feel at home! Rest well cousin, I wish we could have spent more time together.

Really sad to hear of Dicks passing, we have been through a lot when we were growing up and always had a good laugh together remembering all the good times we had, he was truly like a brother to me, and all our times together will never be forgotten. My only wish now that I would of taken the time to visit him more often......hearts out to all the Redinbo family.

I remember Dick when he had the transmission shop. I, as a woman, was in the auto repair business not by choice really. When I needed help with transmission work he was always so kind and helpful to me. He was very friendly and respectful to me.
