Clarks Hill - Sara Waddell, 67, of Clarks Hill, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Sara was born August 9, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Charles and Madelyn (Olsen) Arpe. She was a 1968 graduate of Cleveland High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Sara married Donald Waddell on February 7, 1970 and he survives.
She worked as a secretary for St. Elizabeth Hospital since 1978. She was the past president and CEO for Waddell Fertilizer Transport. She loved to travel, (especially on cruises), gamble, play euchre, and be with her grandkids and her dog.
In addition to her husband; Donald, she is survived by her children; Charles (Deana) Waddell, and Donna (Two Bears) Medina both of Las Vegas, NV. Sisters; Christine (Greg) Gang of Memphis, TN, Nancy Levin of St. Louis, MO. Two grandchildren; Samira Waddell and Hudson Waddell.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10am with Pastor James Waddell officiating. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, 1001 E. 101st Terrace Suite 220 Kansas City, MO 64131 or online at www.PDKcure.org.
