William Perrigo Obituary
Lafayette - William "Bill" Neal Perrigo, 63, Lafayette and formerly of Attica, passed away at the Regency Place, Lafayette, on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 6:34 a.m. following a year long bout with cancer.
Bill was born in Williamsport, on August 3, 1949. He was the son of Norma Jean (Neal) Perrigo of Attica and the late William Howard Perrigo. Bill was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1968. Following graduation, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during Viet Nam. At the time of his honorable discharge, Bill had attained the rank of Specialist 4.
Bill had worked for 20 years as the contract manager for Wickes Lumber Company in Lafayette. After its closure, he worked for the past 15 years at Lowes until his illness prevented him from working.
Bill enjoyed collecting all types of items, especially comic books. He was also a movie enthusiast.
Bill leaves behind his mother, Jean Perrigo, Attica; two sisters, Sandra J. (Mark) Carli, Sanford, Fla., and Nancy J. (Jack) Beckman, Spring Grove, Pa.; four nephews, Jeremy (Suzie) Ware, Williamsport; Jed (Amy) Beckman and Jay Beckman, both of Spring Grove, Pa.; Matthew Carli, Sanford, Fla.; two nieces, Carissa (James) Landry, Oviedo, Fla., and Ashleigh Carli, Sanford, Fla. 2 great-nephews and a great-niece. He was preceded in death by his father; and a nephew, Jesse Beckman.
Friends may gather at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, May 8, from 5 -7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I worked with Willie at Lowe's for around 3 years. I'll always remember sitting in the receiving office and talking up a storm on movies and comics! He was a great guy and always had great stories to tell.

Bill I still have memories of you never washing your Trans Am when we worked at Wickes. Thanks for the tips about building materials, they have stayed with me all these year. Rest in Peace and I will see you on the other side.
