John Jacobs Obituary
Johnny passed away July 28th after a brief battle with cancer, he was 56 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Cliff and Ruby Jacobs of Jacksonville, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melissa, his one and only beloved son, John T. "JT" Jacobs Jr and his future daughter-in-law Sarah. His brother Jody, Maryanne, his brother Tracy and wife Susan, half-sister Suzanne Al-Taher and Sherry Al-Taher. His nephews Jace and Chris, and nieces Ava and Amanda and extended family.
Johnny loved life and lived it to the fullest, enjoying the beach, riding his Harley, fishing and spending time with his family.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and his optimistic attitude and outlook on life.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, July 31st at Jones Funeral home, 303 Chaney Avenue, Jacksonville, NC 28540 at 12pm. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services (11am-12pm). Burial to follow at Onslow Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Walk to End Alzheimer's at 4600 Park Rd STE 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
