Oliver Cooper Obituary
A private graveside service will be Sunday at the family cemetery.
Mr Cooper served in the US Army during WWII, and was founder and operator of Coopers Small Engine Repair in Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his wife, Velma Gurganus Cooper; and is survived by their two children, Peggy Cooper Sullivan and her husband Tim and Milton "Buddy" Cooper and his wife Betty of Richlands; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville. The family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Electronic condolences may be sent to Jonesfh.org or at JDNews.com.
