Betty Kunselman Obituary

Betty Lou Kunselman, 80, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, following a brief illness.

She was born August 2, 1944, in Brookville. She was the daughter of Floyd and Dora Cussins; they preceded her in death.

She married Darl F. Kunselman on May 12,1962, he preceded her in death along with their daughter Gloria Sullivan.

Betty had three brothers, Jerry Cussins, Marvin Cussins, and Dan Cussins who are all deceased, along with her two sisters, Gloria Gaye Ekis-Hillard and Virginia Cussins.

Surviving are three sons, James Kunselman (Marienville), Darl E and his wife Rhonda Kunselman of Rimersburg, Ronald and his wife Valerie Kunselman of Clymer.

Also surviving are four grandchildren: Caleb, Casey, Carley Kunselman, Cierra Gould (and her father Kerry Gould).

Betty was a member of the Sagamore Wesleyan Methodist church, memorial donations can be sent there.

Betty loved family gatherings and visits, she delighted in fishing with family and friends, along with playing games, cooking and time spent at the Senior Center.

Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

There will be no viewing, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
