Gary A Bowley
Gary Bowley Obituary
He grew up in Brookville and later enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1957. He was stationed in Arlington and served for three years.
After completing his service, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for many years in Arlington, from which he retired.
He reentered the work force for a short period as a handicapped school bus driver for Arlington County Public Schools. Arlington was his home until his death.
Gary was an avid sports fan, having attended many games of the Washington, D.C. baseball and football teams.
He is survived by his two children, Michael and Laurie; three grandsons; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life was held in Arlington, Va. on October 11, 2025.
