Sara Fitzsimmons Obituary

Sara Leanore Fitzsimmons, 96, of Brookville died Saturday November 19, 2016 at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA.
Born August 29, 1920 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late James Meade and Minerva Rebecca (Ishman) Fitzsimmons.
Sara worked for Wells Fargo Bank and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing.
Sara is survived by a step daughter, Sherry Reuss of Scottsdale, AZ; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Fitzsimmons of Brookville, and a niece Kandi Ortz of Summerville.
Along with her parents, Sara is preceded in death by brother, James L. Fitzsimmons and two sisters, Mary Mazur and Ruth Lettie.
A service will be held on Monday November 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Furlong Funeral Home, (www.furlongfuneralhome.com), Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville, PA, with Rev Jim Steingass officiating.
Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Knoxdale, PA.
