Susan Lindemuth Obituary

Susan Lindemuth, 85, of DuBois, formerly of Hazen, died June 3, 2024, while at DuBois Nursing Home, following a period of declining health.

Born in Erie on April 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Florence (Davies) Weigand.

She attended St. Benedict School in Erie and was of the Catholic faith.

On April 14, 1956, in Erie she married James Lindemuth. He preceded her in death.

Prior to her retirement, she was the owner of Route 28 Auto Body.

Her pastimes included boating and camping.

Her survivors include her sons, David (Glendora), Robert, and Mark (Karin) Lindemuth; her daughter, Peggy (Edwin) Gilbert; her 14 grandchildren; her 14 great-grandchildren; her 7 great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Karen Brophy, Gail Boyles and Denise Stoutamyer.

In addition to her parents and husband, her sisters, Andrea Boyles and Lisa Krahe, and her grandson, Justin Gilbert, preceded her in death.

The Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA, was entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Lindemuth.

There will be no services held.

So sorry for the family. Susan was a big help to us when we had the restaurant. Made a lot of copies for us. Besides being a good customer along with Jim. Pat & Neal Davis.
