Mark ("Otis") Forrester, 54, died suddenly and peacefully at home on September 12, 2021. Born December 6, 1966 in Jersey City, the son of the late Marguerite (Gorman) & George Forrester (Ret. Lieutenant JCPD). Mark worked for over 30 years for the US Postal Service in Kearny, NJ. Mark attended St. Paul the Apostle Grammar School, St. Peter's Prep and St. Aloysius High School in Jersey City. Mark was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Mark enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a loyal fan of the NY Giants and NY Yankees. He also enjoyed the NJ Devils and anything Notre Dame. Attendance at all St. Patrick's Day events was second nature for him. He had a "unique" way of keeping family and friends entertained and always laughing. He was the "fun" Uncle and his great nieces and nephew loved being around him because he always made them smile and laugh. Quick witted; his daily Facebook comments were looked forward to by all of his family, friends, and followers. He had the best one-liners! Loving brother of Susan Vincent, Paul Forrester (Ret. Sgt. JCPD) and his wife Elizabeth, Donald Forrester (Ret. JCPD) and his wife Colleen, Neil Forrester and his wife Karin and Eileen Forrester (civilian employee JCPD); brother-in-law to Yinghua Ren Forrester. Mark was predeceased by his brother George Forrester, sister Marguerite Copeland, brother James Forrester (JCPD), and brother-in- laws Peter E. Vincent, Leo Copeland and Joseph Cocuzza. Cherished Uncle of Peter J. Vincent, Amanda Vincent, Megan Vincent, JianFeng (Jeff), Donald, Leo, Catherine, Nicholas, Michael, Leanne Copeland, Sarah Copeland, Neil, William, Antoinette Cocuzza and Marguerite Cocuzza. Great-uncle to Amaya, Adrianna, Jessiah, Jayla, Jordyn, Jade and Alisa. He is also survived by many loving aunts, cousins, friends and co-workers. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed so very much. R.I.P. Return If Possible. Visitation Friday September 17,2021 at Greenville Memorial Home Jersey City from 4:00-8:00pm.
