To the Family of Chris..
I know you don't know me, but I met Chris at Carle one day as I was there for a blood treatment at the same time he was there for chemo. We talked and got to know each other a bit, as I lived a small town over from him. He was in such good spirits and how he was dealing with his illness. He showed me pictures of his bikes and was so proud. In a few hours he touch my heart and I often thought about him and I am sad to said we never got to cross paths again. I have great sadness for you, his wife, family and friends. I only met him for a short period of time but, what an amazing impression he made on me.

My Sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Tracy

We are deeply saddened about Chris' passing at such a young age--he certainly enjoyed life, especially his motorcycles! Amy--you two deserved so much more time together; it's very heartbreaking. Chris was always very kind to everyone and we enjoyed watching him play with our kids during the holidays. He put up a tough fight and remains an inspiration to us. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

I have a lot of happy memories from my teaching and coaching days in Arcola. Chris is part of many of those happy memories. He was able to make me giggle when I was struggling to remain straight faced. He demonstrated a sincere desire to learn and a determination to do his best. He was kind and respectful of kids and adults alike. We recently shared some of our cancer "stories" with each other, and as I walked away I felt that same "Chris initiated" smile come over my face. Please know that Chris was a positive influence for me and for many! My sincere sympathy to all those who loved Chris.

Chris sure was fun to be around. Every job or task we had to do together, Chris always made it a good time. He made walking fields & warehouse work fun. Without him, it was just work. I appreciate him pushing me further to get "one more thing done" May his soul be at peace, and may his family be blessed the rest of their days.

I was so saddened with the news of Chris passing away. I was so fond of Chris. It was a great pleasure and honor to be able to get to know him during all treatments with us. I will dearly miss his smile and funny way about him. I will miss hearing of his playful escapades and casually running into him @ Walmart or passing on 45 and waving to one another. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I hate to admit that as neighbors, we never really got to know Chris. We would wave and say hi, would watch him wash all the mud off of his 4-wheeler after riding, but that was about it. He was just too young. Amy, the two of you should have enjoyed many more years together, but I am sure you made the best of the years you had and have many wonderful memories. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family. If you need anything at all, please just knock on our door - we are there.
