SEBRING, Florida - Connie Sue (Snider) Olmsted, 54, of Sebring, FL, formerly of Charleston, IL, passed away on December 18, 2023, at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 13, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Charleston Moose Lodge. Connie was born on July 10, 1969, the daughter of Willis (Bill) Ray Snider and Barbara Rae (Key) Snider.
Survivors include her mother, Barbara; her children: Madison (Kelia) Olmsted of Sumter, SC, Morgan (Kale) Johnson of Centerville, GA, Mason Wade Olmsted of De Leon Springs, FL; grandson, Dean Johnson of Centerville, GA; sister, Donna Snider of Mattoon, IL; brother, Steve (Angie) Snider of Lerna, IL; and several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Willis (Bill), and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Connie was a teacher at Woodlawn Elementary School in Sebring, FL. She loved her family and friends and loved being a grandmother to Dean. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Connie was an amazing teacher and loved each of her students. Working with her and becoming friends was a gift. Connie and Wade went through hurricane Irma at my Dads house, it was quite a ride. She is gone to soon and all of her Woodlawn and Sebring friends will miss her every day!!!
