Coriene White

CLINTON, Ind. -- Coriene White, 85, of Clinton, Ind., died Saturday at the Springhill Village Nursing Facility in Terre Haute, Ind. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born March 22, 1925, in Elva, Tenn., the daughter of Isaac Marion King and Hattie Bell Hatfield King. She married Herman White; he died in 1979. Survivors include one son, Herman White II of Clinton, Ind.; three daughters, Karen White Smith of Windsor, Marcella White Speth of Clinton, Ind. and Anna M. White of Terre Haute; one sister, Martha Kanizer of Rosedale, Ind.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Mrs. White worked for the White Construction Inc. Memorials may be made to the Vermillion County Community Foundation or to the American Parkinson Disease Association Inc.
