David was such an amazing person to be around. I was fortunate to have had David as a student when I taught at CHS. I treasure the conversations we had. David taught me more about teaching than all four years of college. He is the one student that stands out in my mind when I think back on my year at CHS. He had such a love for life that others couldn't help but take notice of. Even though school was not his favorite place to be, he always came into my class with a smile and a willing attitude. He will be missed dearly by all that truly knew him.

Tammy-Troy-Mandy-Morgan-and family David was a very special person to more people then anyone could imagine. I will miss him and all the crazy things he did. I will always remember his sense of humor, the way he would do flips off the deck railing, seeing him at the races w/damion, and walkin around w/his shirt off like the stud muffin he was, but most of all I will miss his half cocked smile and the little wink that came w/it. He was always the one to protect ya if someone messed w/ya. He will be missed by me and so many others. We love you guys and David. If you need anything let me or my sisters know. love ya always.

Tammy & Mandy,

We've spent hours watching Damion play basketball in our driveway. Damion would often speak of David while shooting hoops and dribbling. David has tought him well. David will be in all our hearts every time Damion goes up to two points. David's eyes always brightened up when he saw his son. We will always consider David a Champion father. We will continue to pray over your family.
