Donald VanScyoc Obituary

NEOGA -- Donald E. VanScyoc age 71 of Neoga, IL died on November 12th 2006 at 12:35 p.m. surrounded by his family at his residence. Donald was born on March 13, 1935 in Toledo, the son of Ben and Mary (Jackson) VanScyoc. Donald married Sandra Lawhorn on October 8th 1955 she survives. He is also survived by one son, Chester & wife Kathy VanScyoc of Neoga; three daughters, Deborah and husband Bruce Farr of Springdale, AR, Vola and husband Roy Haney of Greenup, Becky and husband Stan Cowger of Neoga; one brother, Joe VanScyoc of Toledo; four sisters, Alberta Williams of Crown Point, IN, Marie Chronic of Mattoon, Lorene Purcell of Toledo and Maxine Misner of Michigan. He also has 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Donald was preceded by his parent's; one son, Ronald; seven brothers and two sisters. Donald retired from Fedders Corp. in Effingham, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday November 16th 2006 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL with visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 on Wednesday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Drummond cemetery rural Neoga.
