Edward Applegate Obituary
Ed was born January 30, 1949, in Mattoon, IL to Charles H. Applegate Sr. and Dorothy J. "Sis"(Turner) Applegate. He married Mary Ellen Cline on July 8, 1990, and she preceded him in death.
Ed is survived by a brother, Charles H. Applegate Jr. (Sue) of New Port Richey, FL; granddaughter, Tatyana Mowell Hardin (Dwight) of Mattoon; grandsons Dre Mowell of Charleston, IL and Sam Applegate of Kentucky; great-grandchildren, Kylon and Kalea Hardin of Mattoon; special niece, Tracy Cox (Bill) of Warrensburg, IL; many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and step-son Cayce.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carle Hospice, Urbana, IL. The family would like to thank Carle Cancer Center in Mattoon and Carle Hospice for care provided during his illness. Cremation services have been provided by Central Cremation Center of Forsyth, IL.

Ed, You will be missed by many including me. I always liked you And for what you stood for. First time I met you. Dad & Mom hired You on at McCoy Welding of Mattoon dad would take me & my brother to have your dad cut our hair. Good o'l memories. Thanks for the best memories down at the quarry. Love You Ed. I'll always remember You for your kindness.
